We build sustainable trails people love.
Our trail here
I came to trail work through a lifetime spent on them. In the late 80’s I “grew up” from BMX racing into the emerging world of mountain biking and mountain bike culture—where trails were more than paths, but gateways to wild places. That early connection grew into a lasting passion for trails and the wilderness experiences they deliver, shaping both how I recreate and how I work.
Over time, that passion became a profession. I earned a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Eastern Washington University, completed Wilderness First Responder training through NOLS, sustainable trail building training though Outdoor Stewardship Institute (OSI) and became a certified chainsaw and crosscut Sawyer. I’ve designed and built trails across diverse landscapes as Executive Director of the Buena Vista Singletrack Coalition in Colorado and with Blue Mountain Land Trust in Washington. I design trails with both stewardship and the user experience in mind—prioritizing sustainability, durability, and, above all, fun.
